LegalPPC provides search engine optimization services to lawyers with a particular focus on the Google search engine. Our SEO practices are “White Hat,” with an emphasis on local search. We have extensive knowledge of Google local search and Google Places and favor long-term stability in placement in Google’s index over short-term results or risky strategies.
We know that you, our clients, are professionals and it is important to us that any SEO work we perform on your behalf is above-board and respectful to the legal profession.
Description of your LegalPPC SEO campaign:
- Preliminary Keyword Research:
LegalPPC will research and locate target search phrases with sufficient search volume to justify the effort and pertinent to your law practice. We will then provide you with a list of target-able phrases to consider. We’ll repeat this process until you’re comfortable with the phrases we’re targeting.
- On-Page SEO:
Through the use of keyword-rich copy, carefully crafted title tags, headers, image ALT tags, and internal anchor links between pages, we’ll make the most of known factors in Google’s ranking algorithm, optimizing every page on your website for your target search phrases. This will require a deliberate reworking of each page of the website to ensure that Google can easily index all of the content of you website and understand what each page is about.
- On-Page SEO Refinement:
Over the course of the first six months, we’ll refine your website keyword content and other on-page SEO elements as we gather data pertaining to your website ‘s rankings in Google’s search results. This includes, usually, adding new content (see item 5, below). We’ll ping Google every time we change something on your site, prompting Google to come back and re-index your site.
- Improved Navigation:
To the extent necessary, we’ll change file names and your navigation structure to better represent your target search terms and to make it easier for Googlebot to crawl the site. This will include 301-redirects to ensure that old inbound links are not broken.
- Content Development:
When necessary (almost always), we’ll create secondary practice area pages, subdivide existing content pages, or add new paragraphs of content to the important pages of your site in order to get Google to perceive you as relevant and an important source of information for your target phrases.
- Regular and Continual Link-Building:
Through the deliberate and continual accumulation of non-reciprocal in-bound links from other websites to yours, your website will grow to be perceived by Google as a trusted and increasingly important website for information about your practice areas and services. We’ll procure between 12 and 30 in-bound links per month to various pages within your website with a goal of ultimately having between 250 and 750 links from websites across the web. These links will come from a variety of other websites including press release sites, article sites and social media.
- Google Places:
We will claim, verify and complete your firm’s Google Places profile in an effort to position your law firm’s website in Google’s “7-Pack” maps listing. Development of your Google Places profile will include the utilization of Offers, Google Express (sometimes) and other worthwhile products and services that Google may from time to time implement.
- Directories:
LegalPPC will add your firm to over 40 directory sites using a consistent name, address and phone number convention throughout, including directories known to be important to Google, for example, InfoUSA, SuperPages and InsiderPages.
- Sitemap.xml and Robots.txt file:
We will add sitemap.xml and robots.txt files at the root level of your website to tell Google and other search engines what to index and what the relative priorities are of your website pages.
- LegalPPC’s Performance Guarantee:
Why should all of the risk of the success of our SEO efforts fall upon you? Because it shouldn’t. Ask Ken about LegalPPC’s Performance Guarantee. We will get results or most of the work listed above is free.
